PostWatch Guernsey and Guernsey Post sign MoU

Monday 25 February 2019

A Memorandum of Understanding has this week been signed by Simon Milsted, Chairman of Guernsey Post and Bryan Guilbert, Chairman of PostWatch.

The MoU formalises the relationship between the two organisations and details expectations and protocols to be observed by both parties.

Mr Milsted said: “Both Guernsey Post and PostWatch agree that it is important that all our customers have an effective consumer body to represent their views and interests.

"We are pleased to have a constructive working relationship with PostWatch which has been built on a foundation of many years of openness and transparency.”

PostWatch was established in 2001, and Mr Guilbert added that this new MoU would help make it clear in writing for the first time what both Guernsey Post and PostWatch are expected to do.

"We will be provided with additional statistical information which delves into the core performance of the company. We have a good relationship with the business and we will continue to raise with them any topics which we feel will enable Guernsey Post to improve on their already very high quality and value for money service for their customers.”
