Guernsey's Revenue Service is introducing a new online service for companies completing and submitting corporate tax returns.
The enhanced corporate tax return and account pages are being introduced following feedback from customers in workshops, forums and surveys.
This is the lates update to the States' online services, which are currently undergoing major change through the SMART Guernsey programme.
Part of the project has been prompted by new economic substance requirements for companies to enable them to demonstrate how their operations are conducted in the island. However, the upgrade to this online service goes further, with a 'smarter' tax form which will streamline the task of filling out tax information.
"We all know filing in tax returns isn something we enjoy doing, whether you're an individual or filing for a company," said Head of Service Delivery, Sarah Davies. "Our aim is to make this process quicker and more straight forward for all customers.
"This new system will help our corporate customers but this certainly isn't the only improvement to our online upgrade, we plan to make a lot more improvements to the online services available to our customers."
