Ogier has been named Best Offshore Law Firm by leading independent legal directory Chambers Europe.
It’s the second time in the last three years that Ogier has been recognised with the award.
Partner Fabien Debroise (Luxembourg), and senior associates Anna Cochrane (Jersey) and Diana Collas (Guernsey) attended the awards ceremony in Madrid last night.
Global Managing Partner Edward Mackereth said: "Our growth strategy and targeting of key hires in our teams in Guernsey, Jersey and Luxembourg has been reflected in some significant client wins, strong financial results, and very good feedback from clients.
"In particular we have made a number of high-profile lateral partner hires from our competitors – usually rare in the offshore sector – that have sent out a clear statement about our position as market leaders. Above all, we're very pleased at this latest independent recognition for the quality of our advice and service, which reflects 12 months of very hard work by everyone at the firm."
Chambers Europe say that their awards "recognise a law firm’s pre-eminence in key countries in the region" and that "they also reflect notable achievements over the past 12 months including outstanding work, impressive strategic growth and excellence in client service".
