RBC Wealth Management has announced the appointment of Martyn Russell as Trust Director in the firm’s Guernsey-based Fiduciary Services business.

He will report to Lisa Barnett, Managing Director of RBC Trustees (Guernsey) Limited, RBC Wealth Management - International.

Mr Russell brings nearly four decades of industry experience to this role having been a Board Member and Director at Equiom (Guernsey) Limited, formerly Ardel Trust Company (Guernsey) Ltd and Bachmann Trust Company Ltd where his responsibilities included leading Client Services Teams and the administration of client structures including trusts, companies, foundations, partnerships, pensions, and employee benefit trusts.

These covered a range of assets including investment portfolios, private company shares, commercial, residential and development properties, share schemes, yachts and art.

Mr Russell began his new position in August 2018. He has responsibility for a portfolio of existing high net worth clients and the oversight and administration of new clients. He will also join the board of RBC Trustees (Guernsey) Limited.
