New initiative for Co-Op customers

Tuesday 01 October 2024

The Channel Islands Co-op has announced the launch of new “Member Prices” which aim to “reward loyal members”, it says.

A successful trial of the scheme was run from the Don Store Street in Jersey, but seeing it as a success, it was presented to the Annual Members Meeting across the Channel Islands.

The Coop said the move comes after direct feedback from customers, and will see “exclusive discounts” and “special pricing” offered up to regular shoppers.

Express has had it confirmed that the new Member Prices initiative is not intended to replace or alter the current Dividend scheme, but instead will be another offer open to customers.

David McGrath, Chief Marketing and Membership Officer, said: “Our members told us they want to see immediate rewards from their membership, and we’ve listened

“This initiative is a direct result of member feedback, and we are delighted to offer an initiative that truly meets their needs and expectations.”

Mark Cox, CEO of the Channel Islands Coop, said: “We believe in giving back to our members and Member Prices are our way of thanking our loyal customers for their ongoing support and dedication.

“Every purchase made by a member helps us make a difference whether that be sharing profits with members, funding local initiatives or supporting our efforts to reduce our environmental impact.”
