A new senior role has been created by C5 Alliance, the provider of technology solutions in the Channel Islands, to develop and grow its security services offering.

Stafford Slater has been appointed Head of Networks and Security. He has more than 18 years’ experience working in enterprise environments, providing services to Channel Island and global firms to support and optimise their security,

Previously Mr Slater worked in Information Technology designing and deploying secure network and voice solutions to enterprise customers in the financial services and retail sectors. He has a strong technical background holding certifications in networking, INFOSEC and also IT Service Management frameworks such as ITIL Service Design and Business Architecture.

This mix of technical and business knowledge equips him to analyse clients’ needs, develop and design the most effective solutions to support C5’s clients in meeting their business goals and objectives.

In his new role he will be building a renewed focus on security strategy across C5 Alliance, developing the security and networking practice and supporting the existing managed services team with the design and onboarding of innovative managed security and networking solutions.

Our core message of ‘Advise, Build, Run’ is a powerful one as it ensures that there is joined up thinking across the business.”
