Equiom has appointed a new Chief Commercial Officer, who will be responsible for the growth of the whole business.

Gerard Delaney will focus on expanding Equiom’s geographical reach among private and corporate clients.

With more than 25 years’ experience, he has worked across a variety of sectors including intellectual property management and private equity-owned global telecoms companies. Having lived and worked in Asia-Pacific, Sweden, the US and the UK, Mr Delaney has international business and cultural experience.

Equiom’s Executive Chair, Sheila Dean said; "I am pleased to welcome Gerard to the team. His appointment will enable us to initiate a fresh approach to growing our business by looking at key drivers including our operating model, people, systems and processes, with the aim of significantly improving our already strong performance in new business. His efforts will also help us to take advantage of new sales and client service synergies across our jurisdictions, making the most of the added benefits offered by our acquired businesses. Gerard’s skills and expertise in global private equity-backed growth businesses like ours and his experience in the regions in which we operate will be a tremendous asset to our overall growth plan. I wish him all the best in his new role."

Mr Delaney added; "I am excited to join the dynamic Equiom team. I look forward to working with my colleagues to understand the growth drivers and to create the right environment for attracting new business and delivering on clients’ needs. Throughout my career, I have gained an understanding of the challenges involved with developing an appropriate set of systems and processes to enable sustainable business growth. I look forward to applying my experiences to complement the existing team and to achieving success for the Equiom Group."
