NatWest celebrating the transformation of its High Street branch

Monday 28 January 2019

NatWest International has made some changes to its High Street branch in Guernsey, with it reopening after refurbishment.

The branch is officially open for business again, after its reopening on Friday, when Deputy Lyndon Trott and NatWest International CEO Andrew McLaughlin, went in to 'cut the ribbon'.

NatWest International invested over £1m into the branch. Its new design allows customers to choose how they bank, from the self service automation wall to the new iPad station, where customers can access their online banking. If customers need to speak to a member of staff they can talk to a cashier or make an appointment with one of the bank’s Customer Service Officers who will be happy to help with their banking needs.

As part of the transformation, number of customer improvements have been implemented including the latest cash machines and Coin-In service which allows customersto quickly count coins and deposit them free of charge without the need to bag them. There is also a business bag drop wherebusiness customers can drop off deposit bags quickly and easily. These new features will help customers that come into the branch complete their banking transactions in a quicker, more convenient way. The new branch will also feature large scale photos of Guernsey, showcasing the natural beauty of the island.

Alan Weir, Head of Retail Branches said: “We’re delighted to say that we now offer customers a wider range of ways to bank with us. This gives them quicker and more efficient ways to do their everyday transactions when they visit our branch whilst continuing to offer the opportunity to sit down with our Customer Service Officers to have more detailed discussions about their financial needs and objectives.”
