Mourant expands

Professional services firm, Mourant has confirmed the completion of its expansion into Luxembourg, with law firm, LexField, and governance services business, FideField, joining Mourant's global network

Both businesses will in time transition to the Mourant brand.

Mourant Global Managing Partner, Jonathan Rigby (pictured top) said this development is aligned with the firm's expansive multi-disciplinary growth strategy as it follows the acquisition of a specialist accounting business in January 2022 and the launch of Mourant Consulting in 2021.

"I am delighted to confirm the completion of our Luxembourg expansion, which marks an important milestone in our firm's growth and development.  The business combination is one of aligned approaches, culture and values, that will deliver significant benefits to our clients in the areas that matter most."  

LexField - a boutique corporate and tax practice - will operate as an independent Luxembourg law firm within the Mourant network said Partners, Pierre-Yves Magerotte and Aldric Grosjean.

FideField Director, Melina Howard, said it will continue to provide entity management services to corporate and financial services clients.

The expansion takes Mourant's overall headcount to more than 700, operating from eight offices spanning all major time zones.
