A partnership between Mainspring Fund Services and Aspida Group has announced its first fund launch - a $550m Guernsey private investor fund which completed its first close in January.

The fund is domiciled in Guernsey and has a "global mindset", investing in growth-stage technology companies across Europe, Asia and North America.

Under the partnership, Aspida provides fund managers with corporate and regulatory services and delegates all fund accounting, administration and reporting to Mainspring in London.

Wayne Bulpitt, Co-Chairman at Aspida, commented: “We look forward to working together with Mainspring which has proven administration expertise across multiple fund structures and an outstanding technology platform. Together with our focus on client service we look forward to developing the partnership further."

Stephen Geddes, CEO at Mainspring, commented: “We are delighted to have formed a partnership with Aspida, a highly respected specialist provider of business support services and fund governance solutions in Guernsey to provide our existing and new clients with the optimal solution for servicing a Guernsey Fund."

Aspida is an established Guernsey-based provider of solutions to alternative fund managers, whose clients manage in excess of £2b across multiple alternative asset classes. Mainspring delivers fund administration service to over 70 clients with more than £5bn of assets under administration.
