LTS Tax has announced a three-year partnership with the organisation which runs the golf course at L'Ancresse.

Golf Course Management is forming partnerships with companies to support investment in the links course.

LTS will sponsor the 12th hole and other partners are expected to follow in the coming months.

Francis Snoding, Managing Director of LTS Tax, said: “LTS are proud to be the first corporate partner with L’Ancresse links, which is an important part of the island’s sporting culture with thousands of islanders and visitors alike using the facility annually."

Golf Course Management Chairman Neil Tanguy said: "We are delighted to have the support of LTS Tax during these exciting times of development and improvement at the golf course.

"We look forward to working with them over the next three years."

Golf has been played on the Commons at L'Ancresse since at least 1890.

The current course dates back to the late 1940s when, following the Occupation, the States voted the sum of £10,000 for the reinstatement of the course.

Golf Course Management is a joint venture between the Royal Guernsey Golf Club and the L'Ancresse Golf Club. They pay around £50,000 a year to use the course.
