La Fraternelle launches fund for local community projects

Wednesday 18 April 2018

A long established Guernsey firm has set up a new fund to support community projects in the island.

La Fraternelle said it "is proud to announce the establishment of the La Fraternelle Fund" which will grant money to local organisations for specific projects.

The Fund will accept applications for grants from Guernsey based projects up to £1,000 per organisation, where even a small amount of money will enable a project to happen.

Jan Hawke, Managing Director of La Fraternelle, said: “La Fraternelle has been serving the Bailiwick since 1820. We are always looking for ways we can give something back to the community. We hope the funding will support smaller organisations that might otherwise struggle to raise money to realise their aims.”

Applications for grants from the fund can be made now with application forms available from La Fraternelle’s office on Glategny Esplanade.
