Julius Baer in Guernsey has been awarded Best Private Banking Services Overall in Euromoney’s Private Banking and Wealth Management Survey for the third year in a row.

The Swiss wealth management group’s Guernsey branch won three awards in the survey, which is voted for by private wealth practitioners from around the world.

Jean-Luc Le Tocq, Head of Private Banking at Julius Baer in Guernsey, said: “I’m incredibly proud of our team who, even during a global pandemic, put our clients’ needs at the forefront of their work. I’d like to thank everyone who voted for us.”

As well as winning Best Private Banking Services Overall, the local branch also won awards for its interactions with High Net Worth Clients and Ultra High Net Worth Clients, much to Guernsey Branch Manager Stephen Burt's delight.

“Like many organisations locally and across the globe, working from home has been an interesting adjustment with its own challenges. Our team have taken the changes in their stride and we’re pleased they have been recognised for continuing to offer excellent client service.

“Our top priority is to maintain strong client relationships and traditionally a big part of that is meeting face-to-face, which wasn’t possible for much of 2020. Thankfully, Julius Baer and our team are very adept at using new technology and this clearly demonstrated to our clients that we would find solutions to maintain our service levels.”
