JTC receives two accolades

Thursday 05 July 2018

JTC has recently been honoured with two high profile industry accolades by ePrivateClient.

The listed provider of private wealth and family office services has been recognised for the second year in a row as a ‘Tier 1’ trust company by the private wealth publishing group, while two of JTC’s Channel Islands private client team have been named in ePrivateClient’s inaugural ‘Channel Islands Top 35 Under 35’ list.

The ‘Top Trust Companies 2018’ survey assessed over 100 trust companies across the UK and Crown Dependencies, with 36 being chosen in total to feature in the list based on a range of criteria including number of employees, size of senior team and performance. Of those, only thirteen firms are identified as meriting inclusion in the top tier, of which JTC is one.

The firm had already won ‘Best Independent Trust or Fiduciary Company' at the WealthBriefing European Awards for a second consecutive year, and recently achieved STEP ‘Gold Employer Partner’ accreditation across ten of its jurisdictions.

Individually, Sean Kenny, Manager, Private Wealth Services in Jersey, and Victoria Hammond, Assistant Manager, Private Wealth Services in Guernsey, have both been included in ePrivateClients list of rising stars.

Iain Johns, Group Head of Private Wealth Services, said:

“Not only is this ‘Tier 1’ recognition a great achievement for the firm, but the fact that we have been chosen two years in a row is a clear indication that we remain a key player in the private wealth and family office arena. This ongoing success for JTC is purely down to the hard work and dedication of our people who continuously go above and beyond to deliver a top-class service to our clients. We look forward to continuing the success of JTC in the coming years.”
