The Committee for Economic Development is creating a new arm's length body - the Tourism Management Board - and a Chair is needed to oversee its work.
This board will be responsible for developing a tourism strategy and for providing oversight of the delivery and implementation of the marketing and event plans for Guernsey.
The Strategy will set out the key priorities and aspirations for Guernsey as Tourism Destination including setting out the objectives and KPI's for the tourism industry.
The Chair and the Board will have the VisitGuernsey team as part of its delivery vehicle along with the Director of Marketing and Communications working closely with the Board. The VisitGuernsey Team will remain responsible for delivery and implementation of the agreed Marketing Plans.
