New role for Insurance Corporation CI's MD

Managing Director of the Insurance Corporation of the Channel Islands (ICCI), Mandy Hunt, has been appointed Chief Underwriting Officer for Commercial Risk Solutions (CRS), within ICCI’s parent company, RSA.

Ms Hunt has successfully led the development of ICCI since taking on the role and will be transitioning to her new position over the coming months. Mandy has worked at RSA for 20 years, before joining ICCI in 2015. Recruitment for a successor is already underway.

Ms Hunt said: "I am delighted to have been appointed into the role of Chief Underwriting Officer for Commercial Risk Solutions and am looking forward to returning to the UK business.

"The last 3 years with ICCI have been a real pleasure for me and the support from both the team and the Board of Directors has been fantastic. I wish all the team continued success in the future."

Paul Masterton, ICCI Chairman added: "This is a great move for Mandy and recognition of her success as our Managing Director.  Mandy has been an excellent leader for the business, developing the team and positioning the business for the future.  While sad to see Mandy moving on, I am delighted to see her career develop and wish her continued success."

Rob Gibbs, Managing Director Commercial Risk Solutions in RSA, said they had searched extensively to fill this role.

"Mandy has made a strong and positive impact at ICCI, leading the business to its recent accreditation as a Chartered Insurer."
