HSBC has appointed Benjamin Sykes as Head of Global Liquidity and Cash Management for Commercial Banking in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.

In his role, he will help local businesses take control of their international cash management and harness wider, global opportunities with the Bank’s recently launched Liquidity Management portal. The portal gives clients real time insight and trend analysis on their liquidity to help them improve their funding and investment decisions.

Mr Sykes has been in the banking industry for over a decade, working with clients from across the globe. Commenting on his appointment, he said:

“At HSBC we continue to invest in our digital client solutions and there’s a clear demand from local businesses looking to access global opportunities whilst retaining transparency and control.”

Head of CMB, HSBC Channel Islands and Isle of Man, Warwick Long also commented:

“Clients increasingly value the ability to have an immediate, global view of their accounts and I am certain that Ben will successfully drive this digital movement for the islands.”
