HFL launches trainee scheme

Monday 18 July 2022

HFL, an independent fiduciary and fund administration business in Guernsey, is launching a new trainee scheme this September.

Applications are now open for the three-year scheme, which will focus on the fast-paced venture capital sector, with a six-month rotation between fund accounts and fund administration.

The rotation will allow trainees to gain insight into both functions and how they operate before specialising. HFL will provide trainees with a range of in-house training, support, regular coaching and a professional qualification relevant to their chosen role.

Fund administration trainees will be enrolled on a corporate governance qualification and fund accounting trainees will study towards a professional accounting qualification.

HFL’s People and Culture Administrator, Stacey Le Page, commented: “We are excited to launch our new trainee scheme here at HFL and encourage those who are keen to embark on a career in financial services to apply.

“Thanks to our size, HFL can provide a holistic view of how the business operates, offering trainees exposure to a wealth of information that will broaden their understanding of processes that impact their role.

“We are proud to invest in our people and will always encourage individuals to develop themselves through training and progression opportunities.”
