Guernsey's promotional body will give an update on the finance sector and its achievements and aims today.

Guernsey Finance has secured Miles Celic, Chief Executive of TheCityUK, the representative body which champions the UK-based financial and related professional services industry, as its keynote speaker for the event.

Stakeholders will hear from Mr Celic on his organisation’s work in the UK and how Guernsey’s financial services sector fits in with its remit, as well as TheCityUK’s involvement in positioning London and the wider UK financial services market for a post-Brexit future.

In addition, the update will hear from the likes of Chief Executive Dominic Wheatley, Deputy Chief Executive Kate Clouston and Marketing Director Barnaby Molloy on the exciting progress Guernsey Finance has made during 2017 and more detail on its plans for 2018 across its target markets.

The annual update at St James on Wednesday 24 January commences with registration from 14:30, with the event starting at 15:00 followed by a drinks reception to finish.
