Saffery Champness Audit Manager, Lindsey Dean, has been named Accountant of the Year – Manager at the 2019 Citywealth Future Leaders Awards.

Now in its fifth year the awards programme aims to champion young professionals in the wealth sector and highlight the leaders under forty of today and tomorrow.

The awards ceremony saw Mrs Dean receive the gold award in recognition of her 'in-depth knowledge of her field, excellent client service, leadership and contribution not only to her profession, but also the wider community'.

Mrs Dean manages a client portfolio which includes fiduciary, captive Insurance, fund and Johannesburg Stock Exchange listed structures.

She is part of the team which provides voluntary liquidation services to Guernsey, British Virgin Island and Cayman domiciled entities. She has overall responsibility for managing and maintaining ACCA’s practical experience requirement scheme for trainees across the firm and was instrumental in helping the firm achieve ACCA platinum approved employer status.

Jeremy Ellis, Audit Partner at Saffery Champness in Guernsey, said: “As a manager Lindsey has demonstrated commitment and dedication and I am so pleased that she has been recognised for her hard work and contribution to her profession, and also the good work she does from a CSR perspective. She is a great asset to her clients, team and the firm as a whole.”
