Future plans for Association of Guernsey Charities to be discussed at AGM

Friday 21 April 2023

Association of Guernsey Charities members can learn about developments at the Association of Guernsey Charities and hear future plans on Monday.

The guest speaker is Kevin Keen, Chair of the Association of Jersey Charities.

Wayne Bulpitt, AGC Chair, said: “We are delighted to welcome Kevin over as guest speaker. He has a wealth of knowledge and experience of working across the Channel Islands and the third sector and will be sharing his thoughts on the challenges and opportunities facing charities, approaches to regulation and the relationship between Government and the third sector.

"It promises to be an extremely useful and informative evening and we would urge all members who have not already registered, to please do so as soon as possible.”

Member charities can register via Eventbrite. The AGM begins at 7pm at the Princess Royal Centre for Performing Arts and for information on becoming a member you can visit www.charity.org.gg or contact Karen Solway, AGC Administrator admin@charity.org.gg

The AGC was formed in 1984 and is an umbrella organisation for the voluntary and charitable sector in the Bailiwick of Guernsey.

It supports, champions and connects the sector and develops greater charitable activity. It represents the sector through engagement with government, business, professional bodies and the public.

The AGC operates two sub-brands – giving.gg and volunteer.gg.
