After months of preparation, Kings Premier Health Club is set to offer a new, futuristic approach to fitness.

Its newly-built immersive cycling studio will feature The Trip from Les Mills, which is currently only available in a handful of cities worldwide.

The interactive workout uses visual and audio elements to engage gym-goers' senses and take them on a journey through imaginative worlds and dimensions.

One of the first groups to take advantage of the experience is the Guernsey cycling charity, 'Only Fools and Donkeys', which is partnering with Kings for its next fundraising challenge.

"Often the preparations for these endurance events can be the hardest part of the challenge, but the launch of this immersive studio will take our preparations to a whole new level," said Co-Founder of the charity, Ray Smart. "You really don't feel like you're working out at all and yet, when you look at the stats from your personal fitness device, you realise just how hard you have been pushing yourself - it's a real win-win!"

The Trip is a 45 minute multi-peak cycling workout, led by an instructor. It is inspired by cinema, live concert experiences and interactive gaming, and is the only one of its kind in the island.

The studio features lights to simulate the illusion of motion, and participants will have the chance to experience The Trip on world-renowned Stages SC3 bikes, which Kings has invested in for the new studio.

"Stages Cycling has worked with the best in the business, including Team Sky and Team UAE Emirates," explained Club Manager, Sean Mills. "Their industry leading SC3 bikes ride just like a road bike.

"Our partnership with both Stages and Les Mills brings together the dynamic combination of the global leader in indoor cycling and the global leader in group exercise."

Private group sessions and non-member class passes are available.
