Five nominations for Estera women

Wednesday 14 August 2019

Estera, a global fiduciary provider, with an office in Guernsey, has been shortlisted in five categories in Citywealth’s Powerwomen Awards.

These shortlistings recognise excellence across the board as well as significant growth in Estera’s business and investment in people, premises, and systems.

Group Chief Executive Officer at Estera, Farah Ballands, is shortlisted for both ‘Leadership, Financial Organisation’ and ‘Business Growth, Large / Institutional’; our Group Business Development Director Lisa Mclauchlan is shortlisted for ‘Business Services, Large’; whilst Michelle Tring, who has recently been promoted to Trust Director, is shortlisted in the Future Leaders Partner / Director category. Estera is also shortlisted overall for ‘Best Employer, Career Progression’.

Ms Ballands said; “The last few years have been tremendously successful for Estera. We have seen very strong results with significant revenue growth and we have built a well-diversified business. As well as investing in the growth of our long-established trust business we have also built a fully-fledged global funds capability. Not only are we very proud of the work we do and the clients we work for, we are also extremely grateful for their continued support. This shortlisting recognises our global team and their efforts. I am proud to work with them all.”

Ms  Ballands added; “At Estera, we are proud of the fact that we have built a diverse and inclusive team. Today, 65% of our workforce is female and the number of female directors stands at 42% which is well in excess of industry norms.”

The Citywealth Powerwomen awards will be announced in early 2020 in London.
