Ferbrache & Farrell says it has grown its team with two new recruits offering experience in probate and compliance

Senior probate officer Barbara Lovell has joined Ferbrache & Farrell’s Property Law department. Having started her Probate career in 2011, she has previously worked with clients from across the globe, on complex family issues.

"My job is to provide uncomplicated, knowledgeable advice about the Guernsey probate process to both local and non-local executors and administrators," she said.

Advocate and Managing Partner, Alastair Hargreaves, said; "our clients appreciate her practical and technical advice, as well as her ability to communicate the complexities of the Guernsey probate system in a clear and concise way.

"In addition to making probate applications, Barbara also handles the administration of estates; she is sensitive to the personal needs of the deceased’s family yet focuses on administering the estate efficiently and cost effectively."

Experienced in client take-on and due diligence, Lorna McKinney has also joined the firm as an Executive Assistant, Compliance.

She worked for 10 years as a Legal Librarian, Secretary and Administrator, and has worked with the majority of the Ferbrache & Farrell team previously.

Prior to entering the legal profession, Ms McKinney was a personal banker and holds qualifications from the International Compliance Association.
