He says he has always had an interest in technology and enjoys problem solving which has naturally led him to a career in IT. He said, "It’s an exciting and rapidly changing industry to be in and has changed so much in the 12 years I’ve worked in it. I can remember when the internet was accessed through dial-up: now we are in an age of virtualisation where IT developments mean we can run multiple servers on one physical server. Such easy access to the internet has meant a tremendous rise in cyber crime which everyone, whether business or individual, needs to take the necessary steps to protect against.
