Two new staff have joined managed services provider, Resolution IT, as the business continues to expand.

Ed Allisette joins as a Trainee Service Desk Engineer, having had previous IT support experience with a local telecoms provider. Jake Duquemin joins as Trainee Business Solutions Consultant following completion of his education at the Grammar School.

Mr Allisette said: "Growing up around IT and seeing the advancements it has made in my life I was keen to pursue a career in IT. Joining Resolution IT has given me the opportunity to expand my IT related knowledge and skills. Studying with recognised professional qualifications in order to become an accredited IT professional. IT is a growing sector in Guernsey and Resolution IT is at the forefront of embracing the latest technologies, enabling it to provide the best service to its customers. That makes it an ever changing and exciting place to work."

Mr Duquemin said: "Having taken Computer Science as one of my ‘A’ Levels, I was keen to pursue a career in the IT industry. With the speed of technological advancements, many of which are being adopted by local businesses, it’s an incredibly interesting time to be entering the industry. The chance to expand on and learn new skills throughout my career is an exciting prospect, especially as many will be new technologies we have yet to hear of."
