Entry is now open for Inter-Firm Relay

It’s time to lace up those shoes as the Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management (CGWM) 2019 Inter-Firm Relay is back.

This popular annual race through the centre of town will see runners complete a one-mile lap tackling the St Peter Port street course, starting at the top of Smith Street.

Organised by Guernsey Athletics, the event will take place on Wednesday 31 July 2019 at 18:30. Teams can comprise men, women or be mixed with entry costing £20 per team. As registration is now only available online, so entrants are urged to visit the website to sign up.

This is the 16th year that CGWM has sponsored the event, giving local runners of all abilities an opportunity to engage in a fun and challenging competition with co-workers and peers. There is always a great support from spectators around the course as the teams put their running skills to the test which includes a challenging final climb up Smith Street to hand over the baton to the next team member.

As part of Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management’s #cando philosophy, this community focused competitive event promotes physical well-being by encouraging participants to adopt an active lifestyle.

Entrants must be over 16 years of age on the night and each team may have only one Guernsey Athletics Club member and mixed teams must have at least one female.
