Monday 13 January 2020

Butterfield has been shortlisted in the “Private Bank of the Year” category for two Citywealth awards, the International Financial Centre (IFC) Awards and the Magic Circle Awards 2020.

The IFC Awards now in their ninth year and the Magic Circle Awards in their 15th are organised by Citywealth and aim to highlight the excellence of advisers and managers in the private wealth sector.

Winners are selected following both public voting and judging by a panel of international industry experts. Butterfield has been shortlisted due to its passion for long-term, collaborative relationships with local and international private clients as well as its first-class service, offering tailored solutions.

Michael Collins, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, the Bank of N.T. Butterfield & Son Limited said: “We are extremely proud to be shortlisted for both the IFC and Magic Circle Awards. The Butterfield team works diligently to provide an exceptional service to our clients and we are delighted to receive this well-deserved recognition for our colleagues’ dedication and expertise.”

It follows recent success across the Group with Butterfield named “Bank of the Year” in Bermuda and the Cayman Islands by The Banker.

The IFC Awards ceremony will take place on Wednesday, 29 January 2020 at the Rosewood London Hotel, and the Magic Circle Awards ceremony will be held at the Landmark Hotel in London on Wednesday, 13 May 2020. Voting for the IFC Awards has now closed but voting for The Magic Circle Awards is open until 31 March 2020.
