Cyber security firm appoints new director

Wednesday 22 September 2021

CentricalCyber has appointed Darren Clement as its director, continuing an ethos of being a “different proposition” to other competitors.

CC develops regulatory frameworks and mitigates cyber risk for clients across the world, while also adhering to the Guernsey Financial Services Commission’s new cyber security rules.

“Cyber security isn’t just an IT or a technology issue, it’s serious business risk that must be properly identified, with robust treatment and remediation strategies and incident response processes formulated in order to reduce the overall impact on the business,” said Mr Clement.

The certified Chief Information Security Officer has more than 25 years’ experience in the field and will be guiding the business through new workflows and AI capabilities.

‘The firm was born with a no-fuss, no-fear approach to cyber risk management, to help leaders move beyond a stereotype that ‘cyber security equals IT’,” said the co-founder of CC, Kyan Frith.

“Darren’s appointment, together with our highly innovative toolset, creates a 360° approach to cyber risk management which is massively exciting and a CISO service that will revolutionise how businesses think about and manage cyber security.”
