Condor Ferries CEO Paul Luxon is standing down at the end of the month, it has been confirmed, as the operator revealed his replacement.
The former States Deputy joined Condor in May 2016 overseeing the sale of the company in 2019/2020 and its management during the pandemic.
Mr Luxon said: "The company is in a strong position and its new fleet concept is the right model to deliver the right services for the period following the change in ownership and the reinvigoration of the Channel Islands post-covid."
Pictured: It was confirmed on Thursday that Mr Luxon would be leaving the company imminently after five years at the helm.
His replacement John Napton, 48, has worked for Brittany Ferries since 1990.
Mr Napton has been in the role of UK Managing Director since 2015 and sits on the Condor Board of Directors.
"Despite challenging times, Condor will continue to be the lifeblood of the Channel Islands providing essential services, connecting people and delivering freight," he vowed.
Both men have declined to give further interviews.
