Collas Crill has appointed Senior Associate Ian Petherbridge to join its corporate, finance and funds team in Guernsey.

Mr Petherbridge joins Collas Crill from South Africa where he was a specialist consultant for Eversheds Sutherland. He has a transactional practice covering banking, financing as well as mergers and acquisitions.

Mr Petherbridge has been involved on multi-jurisdictional merger and acquisition transactions in a range of sectors including oil and gas, technology, media and telecom, fast moving consumer goods, real estate, mining, retail and logistics. He has also advised on solar power projects, commodities trading, infrastructure and artificial intelligence.

He was admitted as a legal practitioner in the High Court of Namibia in April 2007, and as a Notary Public in the Supreme Court of Namibia in 2012.
