CI graduates could learn from Mumbai Fintech experts

Channel Island graduates could find themselves discovering the world of FinTech across the world in Mumbai as part of a new placement from Infrasoft Technologies Limited (InfrasoftTech).

The InfrasoftTech Student Scheme will see successful applicants spending three months with the company working alongside teams in Mumbai and Jersey, understanding how the tech space works and the portfolio of solutions that InfrasoftTech offers.

“By offering Channel Island graduates the chance to work with an International software services provider, and in support of growing the local digital economy, InfrasoftTech is keen to help raise awareness and provide work experience and learning opportunities leading to careers in the digital sector," Wayne Gallichan, Business Development Manager for InfrasoftTech, said.

Lucy Witham, Head of Digital for Economic Development added: “We are so pleased to be working with InfrasoftTech who are providing such a fantastic opportunity for Guernsey graduates to experience the cutting edge of digital innovation first hand, building their knowledge in financial technology and gaining a wider understanding of global business.”

The placement will run across the third and fourth quarter of 2018. Interested candidates should have strong communication skills, an understanding of a range of technical principles and passion and curiosity for learning. A relevant qualification or interest in IT or Computer Science or Business Studies is advantageous but not a specific requirement.

To apply, applicants should submit a covering letter and their CV to info@digitalgreenhouse.gg. The closing date is Friday 11th May. For any further information, please email wayne.gallichan@infrasofttech.com.
