Two Carey Olsen partners have contributed Guernsey and Jersey chapters to the second edition of International Estate Planning: A Reference Guide.
Russell Clark and Keith Dixon, Trusts and Private Wealth Partners at the firm, have contributed to the guide, which highlights cultural differences in attitudes and practices regarding estate planning in many different jurisdictions.
The book is co-authored by Barbara Hauser, a private client and family offices lawyer, and Melissa Langa, managing partner of Boston law firm Bove & Langa.
“It was an honour to be invited to pen the Guernsey chapter for such an invaluable tool to the global international estate planning industry,” said Mr Clark. “It is also testament to our standing among offshore law firms in this practice area that we were chosen to provide both chapters for the Channel Islands.”
“I was delighted to be asked to provide the Jersey chapter in Barbara and Melissa’s fabulous book and to have played a small part in its publication,” added Mr Dixon.
“It is an extraordinary resource and one that I’m sure its readers will truly value.”
