Carey Olsen has added to its Guernsey corporate practice with the appointments of Senior Associate Tracey Powell and Associate Daniel Long.

Ms Powell, who is based in Carey Olsen's London office, advises on a broad range of Guernsey corporate, banking and finance, funds and regulatory matters, with particular focus on the establishment, regulation and management of investment funds, including advising on fund financing.

Before joining Carey Olsen, Ms Powell had worked in both the Guernsey and London offices of another offshore law firm, where she first specialised in dispute resolution and employment law before transferring to the corporate team in 2010.

Mr Long, who advises on a broad range of corporate matters, joins the Guernsey office having most recently worked in the banking and finance team at Burges Salmon LLP in Bristol where he specialised in real estate and project financings for clearing banks, debt funds and corporate borrowers at domestic and international level.

Ben Morgan, Partner and Head of Carey Olsen's corporate practice in Guernsey, said: "We are delighted to welcome Tracey and Daniel to Carey Olsen. Between them, they bring considerable experience in advising across a wide range of corporate, investment funds and finance matters.

"Their appointments also demonstrate the continued growth and development of our Guernsey corporate practice both locally and in London from our office in the City."
