People Like Us is a new recruitment agency launching in Guernsey that will aim to “break down the traditional approach to recruitment.”
Christine Bangor-Jones is the founder of PLU and has been working in the industry for more than 20 years.
“I set up People Like Us to bring a unique approach to recruitment,” said Ms Bangor-Jones.
“Finding the right person is more than marrying a job description with a CV, it’s truly listening and understanding what a business or potential recruit want from the next step.”
Ms Bangor-Jones has been working in Guernsey since 2008 and said the job market is currently quite stressful.
“Pressures from the pandemic have made it a very different market than 2019 and both parties may need to be flexible with their recruitment goals.”
