Alderney’s The Blonde Hedgehog has been recognised as a Cesar Award winner for Best Hotel in the South West and Channel Islands and received a coveted Foodie Award from The Good Hotel Guide 2024.

The accolades celebrate excellence in hospitality, with The Good Hotel Guide inspectors describing The Blonde Hedgehog as “Pretty much perfect” and praising its culinary offerings, stating, “the food is divine.”

The Cesar Award recognises hotels that go above and beyond to deliver unforgettable guest experiences.

The Foodie Award highlights The Blonde Hedgehog's dedication to providing outstanding cuisine, combining locally-sourced ingredients with creative flair under the leadership of Head Chef Stephen Scott.

Directors Julie-Anne Uggla and Tracey Farquhar-Beck are delighted to receive these awards.

"These awards are a testament to the passion and commitment of our entire team," said Tracey.

"From the warm welcome and superior service headed up by Front of House Manager Alexandra Rotaru, to the unforgettable dining experiences from Stephen and his team of talented chefs, we are deeply proud to offer something truly special on Alderney."

The Good Hotel Guide's Foodie Hotels are described as places "where you will find the best food, quality service, an extensive wine list, and a relaxing ambience."
