Black Vanilla reveals new branding

Tuesday 15 September 2020

Black Vanilla has unveiled a fresh new logo and updated website reflecting the agency’s "ongoing growth and confidence" in the role that public relations plays in business, the public sector and the wider community.

Black Vanilla Director Nichole Culverwell said the new branding reflects the PR firms's "future-facing" approach.

"Strategic communications and reputation management play a critical role in helping organisations connect with their customers and stakeholders," she said.

"2020 has highlighted the need for clear and authentic messages, both to internal and external audiences."

Black Vanilla enlisted local creative agency Two Degrees North to fashion its new corporate identity.

"We were delighted to be asked to work on a new identity for Black Vanilla who required a distinct departure from their existing brand in order to reflect the business’s evolution," said Creative Director Chris Griffiths.

"Thanks to a thorough and thoughtful creative brief and close collaboration with the team, we believe we have created a modern yet timeless brand which goes a long way to conveying how Black Vanilla “helps clients to tell their stories”."

As part of the new design, Two Degrees North created four new service icons to represent the agency’s offering in public relations, creative content, event management and communications training.

Ms Culverwell concluded: "The way we communicate is constantly changing but the fundamentals of our role in reputation management are unwavering, and that underpins all of our work."
