Black Vanilla partner buyout

Wednesday 13 March 2019

Guernsey-based communications agency Black Vanilla has announced a change in leadership, as Nichole Culverwell takes over sole ownership from founder and co-owner Jade Isabelle.

The company - which specialises in public relations, copywriting, events and social media - was founded by Mrs Isabelle in 2008 and merged with Mrs Culverwell's PR business in 2016.

Mrs Culverwell is a CIPR Chartered PR practitioner, the Vice Chair of the Channel Islands CIPR committee and a member of the local Institute of Directors committee.

"It has been fantastic working with Jade over the last few years and during that time the agency has continued to evolve," said Mrs Culverwell. "Black Vanilla's core expertise is now focused on reputation management, which I believe will become even more important in today's climate of uncertainty and fast-paced technological change. I am very excited about further developing our first-class PR services and taking Black Vanilla forward."

Mrs Isabelle commented: "I will always be proud of the Black Vanilla brand and the team I created and built over the last 10 years. It is a natural progression for Nichole to take over ownership and to continue to build on this success."

The agency has clients from a wide variety of sectors including financial services, telecoms, health and consumer goods in the UK, Guernsey and Jersey.
