Saffery Champness director, Lisa Vizia, has won the bronze award for Woman of the Year - business services, at the 2018 Citywealth Powerwomen Awards.
The Powerwomen Awards, which champions women in the wealth sector, was held on Thursday 22 February at London’s Rosewood Hotel, where Miss Vizia had been shortlisted along with other respected female leaders.
Miss Vizia heads up a dedicated family office team in Guernsey managing offshore structures for ultra-high net worth families with a particular focus on the Middle East and her bronze win cements her credentials as one of the leading lights in the fiduciary sector.
“The Powerwomen Awards is always a great event, bringing successful women together across the wealth, professional services and legal sectors. I’m honoured to have received this award and to have been considered alongside such strong candidates. Whilst this award highlights my individual achievement, it really is a team effort and would not have been possible without the great people we have at Safferys,” she said.

Saffery Champness, established in 1977 by one partner and now one of the largest independent fiduciary service providers in Guernsey, employs more than 120 people across its trust, funds, tax and accountancy businesses, with its fiduciary team specialising in the provision of services to an international client base.
The Powerwomen awards were established in 2014 by editor and founder of international publication house Citywealth, Karen Jones, with the objective of highlighting female leaders across all international financial centres. The winners were selected by a panel of industry expert judges from various financial, fiduciary and advisory backgrounds.
