Aurigny has appointed its current Head of Finance, Roger Pratt, to Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective 1st December 2024.
Mr Pratt joined Aurigny in 2014 as a Management Accountant, a role he held for three years before advancing to Financial Controller. He was subsequently promoted to Head of Finance before accepting the position of CFO this month.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr Pratt said: “I am very much looking forward to taking on the role of CFO to further strengthen the company’s position.
“I have worked at Aurigny for 10 years, holding various positions in the finance team, and I am grateful to the CEO and management team for this exciting opportunity to take on this new role at Aurigny.”
Mr Pratt will work closely with Nico Bezuidenhout, CEO at Aurigny, in his new role.
“I would like to congratulate Roger on his appointment to CFO," said Mr Bezuidenhout. "He has been a valuable asset to Aurigny during his 10 years of working with us.
“Promotion to the role of CFO not only reflects Roger’s experience and capabilities but also the value we place on him. It also shows the emphasis that the company places on sound financial stewardship which Roger and the team are helping to deliver.”
Born and raised in Guernsey, Mr Pratt studied at Warwick University, achieving a BA and MA in Classical Civilisation. He lives in Guernsey with his wife and two children.
