KPMG has appointed a Senior Risk and Regulatory Specialist covering the Crown Dependencies - and she is based in Guernsey.

Emma Bailey has been made Advisory Director in the firm's Guernsey office. She will be responsible for the firm’s presence and credentials in risk and regulatory consulting services.

Previously employed by the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, Ms Bailey has nearly 20 years' experience in the sector, most recently as Director of Authorisations and Innovation.

At KPMG, Ms Bailey will take on a number of client-facing duties, including pre-onsite visit preparation, application reviews, change of control / acquisition reviews, post-acquisition integration plan reviews and governance reviews, which she said she is excited about.

“I’m delighted to be joining the team at KPMG and excited to play an important part in the firm’s growth plans, as KPMG broadens the range of risk and regulatory advisory services offered across the Crown Dependencies," she said.

The Head of Advisory for KPMG in the Channel Islands, Linda Johnson, welcomed Ms Bailey to her new role.

“Emma will bring a wealth of experience to the team as we continue to support regulated businesses in the Crown Dependencies with their risk and regulatory requirements. Her appointment supports our plans to be the local market leader for advisory services," she said.
