What's it about?

TAZ Talks:

  • Learn about our snakes, lizards, farm animals and a multitude of minibeasts.

Animal interactions:

  • Meet the piglets, calves, sheep, tortoises, goats, ducks, chickens, geese and our mob of emus
  • Get up close with the ducklings and chicks
  • Handle the guest rabbits
  • Groom Teddy the miniature pony

Do something new:

  • Forest and outdoor skills
  • Explore the bug tent - giant millipedes, hissing cockroaches, giant stick insects, giant snails, leaf insects and tarantula

Fun for all:

  • Craft tent
  • Log adventure trail
  • Face painting or glitter tattoos*
  • TAZ quiz for the kids (big and little)

Special guests:

  • Petit Funfair – pedal boats & water rollerz*
  • Special Branch – tractor and woodcraft

Food & Drink*:

  • Slaw – American BBQ and flame-grilled burgers
  • Ice creams galore

Other stuff:

  • Photographs will be taken for promotional use, please make it known at the entrance gate if you do not wish to feature in them
  • Baby change and breastfeeding gazebo
  • Free entry for infants up to 12 months old
  • Assistance parking on-site by reservation
  • All other parking at Les Beaucamps High
  • Entry by pre-purchased ticket
  • No dogs permitted
  • No smoking
  • Activities may vary slightly between open days although we intend to maintain the same level/number of activities at each
  • *denotes payable at the open day in addition to the ticket price

Important safety information - ticket purchase confirms your acknowledgement of the points below:

  • Handwashing facilities with warm running water and soap will be available as well as hand sanitiser. Ensure hands are washed after animal contact and prior to eating to avoid infection
  • Children should be supervised at all times and not run on-site or climb on fences etc
  • The land is agricultural farmland, therefore, adequate footwear is advised (avoid open-toed shoes)
  • Fingers and hands etc should not be put through fencing or rails as animals may bite or peck causing injury
  • First aider on-site and first aid facilities available from the reception desk
  • The Accident Zoo has public liability insurance of £5,000,000
